Going to Church

So today I convinced Angela to go to church with me. Going alone the last couple of weeks remimded me too much of horrible single days. With Angela and I both going it also meant Ali would go to church for the first time. Of course this means pictures of Ali in her little dress.

Here she is with her Daddy practicing being bored for when the high councilmen come to speak. That comment is mostly for Doug.
As you may notice there are recent pictures of me without facial hair. Sad huh. Well what happened is we did family photos and I didn't want to hear about me having a beard 20 years from now, so I shaved. Then I started to grow the beard again until Ali's blessing. But, one night I had been printing until 2 am, came home and started to take a shower to get the ink smell off. Out of routine I started to shave, it wasn't until the beard was a third of the way shaved that I realized what I was doing. So you probably won't see me with a beard again until after Ali's blessing next Sunday. Don't worry Jethro and Travis I will soon be back in the ranks.

Baby Blessing

We are going to be blessing Alessandra on July 6th @ 11 am at the stake center down the street from our house, we will then be having a luncheon at my parents house. Please let me know if you want more info. and would like to come! Oh, and here is a picture with her eyes open (this is for you mom).

Ali's first photo shoot!

This is Ali at 2 weeks, and her first (of many) photo shoots to come. She was so awake this day-which is very unusual for her! I felt bad trying to get her to sleep but we did it, and also managed to not get pooped or peed on (which is also very rare with newborns). Thank you Lyndi for taking these, and Mary for letting us use your studio (again!).

One Week Old

I can't believe it has already been a week. I have had so much fun being a mom and Ali is such a good baby. We love her so much. She had her one week check up today and she has gained lots of weight and is very healthy. I am also feeling very good and thankful not to be pregnant anymore. Thanks everyone who has visited and thanks grandmas for all your help!

Our Little Queen!

Angela and Alessandra look wonderfull. Acording to the professionals here at the hospital, nothing is wrong with either Ang or Ali. In fact, they are perfect, and that's a professional opinion.

Our two little prom queens together. Amy and Ali have recently been voted Prom Queens. Ali most recently at the Hospital Ball. Good thing visitors have brought about a million little dresses for her to try on for the big dance. Thanks Everyone!
